Basic Info BioWhen Richard and I first met, we discussed our dreams of living off the land. The longer we've been together, the more those dreams have solidified. We are not consipiracy theorists, we are not anti-government, we are not crazy. However, we strive to live an independant, off-the-grid lifestyle where we depend only on ourselves for energy, and mostly only on ourselves for food, clothing, and other miscellaney.
Should the worst happen and the world come to crisis, we would be safe from most repercussions in our homestead off the grid. Should the worst not happen, we would still have a life uncommon, a life of independance and strength, living in harmony with the world around us.
This journal is a log of our dreams, and the steps we are taking to make them come true. We are not there yet; it is a long journey for us. It will likely be five years before we can buy the land we seek and start our "real" homestead. This is just a log of our steps along the way.
